Our local artisans of Cambutal have incorporated the traditional techniques of using renewable materials such as clay tiles, local woods and palm leaves to create this special cabana. This tranquil master bedroom suite is located on the ground floor, and steps away from sinking your toes into the warm black sand. Inside this beautiful cabana includes three twin beds. Luxurious textures and delicate color palettes create a warm and welcoming stay. This cabana is equipped with a tastefully designed open concept bathroom, private patio, and outdoor shower to rinse the salt-water away.
Anahata is outfitted with luxurious bath products to soften your skin, high quality linens, air-conditioning, and a mini bar to keep your refreshments cold.

Having such beautiful and dramatic tidal changes in Cambutal, we felt this was the perfect name for one of our oceanfront, luxurious cabanas. This private cabana is accessed by a hand-laid stone pathway that meanders through the leafy vegetation.
This ground floor cabana comes equipped with custom pieces designed by the owners and hand crafted by local artisans from the country-side.
La Marea comes with a very large private terrace with a nice view of the surrounding trees along with the sounds and view of the ocean's tide.

We are located in Cambutal, Panama and the closest airport is the Tocumen International Airport (PTY). Once you have landed in Panama, you can reach us by car, bus, charter plane or private car shuttle. If travelling to Sansara outside of the group transportation we can assist you in arranging transportation prior to your arrival.

With the average temperature holding steady in between 82 and 91 degrees Fahrenheit (Between 28 and 33 degrees Celsius), you’re bound to love the weather at Sansara no matter what time of year you plan your trip to Cambutal! Chilly nights are a rarity and we recommend you pack for the sun.

No need to be intimidated. Everyone has to start somewhere and we provide a comfortable, supportive environment where you can feel safe trying out surfing or yoga. If neither is for you, there are many other activities at the resort and in the area that will make your trip well worthwhile.

We suggest all guests arrive in Panama City (PTY) on Saturday before your scheduled retreat date. This gives you one day/night to explore the historic district (Casco Viejo). On Sunday morning between 8:30 - 9:00am the included transportation will pick you up from one of the recommended hotels in Casco Viejo, see below.
We also suggest enjoying an extra night in Panama City on the return, however if you need to fly out on the Saturday, please book a flight no earlier than 6:00pm. Drop-off's as part of the included transportation on the return, from Sansara to Panama City, are available at the same list of recommended hotels.

Each beachfront cabanas is equipped with a full ensuite washroom, air conditioning, North American power outlets, mini fridge, tea & coffee station, and private patio. The linens are lush, and all pillows are hypoallergenic. You are supplied with complimentary organic nontoxic soap, shampoo and conditioner during your stay as well. A complimentary Welcome Drink & Wi-Fi is also included. All of our cabanas are located steps away from sinking your toes in the sand.

Yes, Sansara has a wide variety of options! You can add on surf lessons, excursions, massages, etc when you arrive!

At Sansara, we believe in the importance of disconnecting to reconnect, however we do understand the need to keep in touch with those at home. We have fiber optic WIFI throughout the resort and available for all guests. Individual televisions are not provided in your room.

The currency in Panama is USD dollars and the nearest ATM is approximately a 30-minute taxi drive away. Traveller’s cheques are not recommended and many places will not accept credit cards as well. We recommend bringing a little extra money for shopping, dining and excursions. We do accept credit cards (Visa & MasterCard) at Sansara.
